Members automatically get the permissions to post links after a certain number of approved posts
(5). This is to deter spammers. We are happy to manually override that for anyone who contacts
us.
How do I post images?
Drag and drop from your computer desktop, or for mobiles/tablets click on the image icon and browse
to your photo library.
What happened, Suddenly the text editor icons are grayed out?
This means you accidentally went into code editor mode. To revert you need to click on the [ ]
icon. On smaller devices this may be hidden under the vertical three-dot menu on the right.
How do I post a video/audio
Just paste the Youtube/Vimeo/Soundcloud URL into the message. It will automatically embed a
player.
How to start a PM (aka Conversation or PC). Two ways:- Click on the recipient's avatar, then on the Start Conversation button
- Click on the envelope icon in top navigation bar, then click on Start Conversation
To delete a conversation click on Leave
Why has my post been deleted?
This could be for any number of reasons:
It may have been deleted due to being against forum rules (e.g. offensive, short meaningless ,posts
etc.). Or it may have just been moved to a more suitable forum. Sometimes threads get merged when
two threads are about the same topic.
Or else off topic posts can get moved to the off topic forum. This does not always happen, usually
it happens when an off topic post triggers enough follow-up posts to warrant being moved out of a
current thread if it causes that thread to become less than ideally focussed on the topic.
